The short answer.
WhatsApp API cost = Meta's per-message rate (by country and category) + the platform fee. RapBooster's platform fee is ₹0.20/message. RCS is priced per message by country and type (basic, rich or conversational). Pick the channel, country, category and volume to see the total, excluding 18% GST.
How WhatsApp pricing works (as of Sept 2026)
Meta charges per delivered template message, and the rate depends on the recipient's country and the template category: marketing costs the most, while utility and authentication are cheaper. Service replies inside the 24-hour customer-service window get 1,000 free per number each month (from 1 Oct 2026), then the utility rate. On top of Meta's rate you pay your provider's platform fee; on RapBooster that's a flat ₹0.20 per message plus your plan.
RCS pricing in plain words
RCS (Rich Communication Services) messages show your verified brand name, logo and rich cards inside the default messages app on Android. They are billed per message: basic (text), rich (media and cards) or conversational (two-way sessions). In India a basic RCS message is ₹0.30 on RapBooster.
Estimates, not invoices
Meta updates its rate card periodically, so the Meta rates here (its official INR card from 1 Oct 2026) can change. Always check the live rate card before a large campaign.
