The short answer.
The WhatsApp Template Previewer shows a message template (header, body with {{1}} variables, footer and buttons) inside a realistic phone chat, and lints it against the most common reasons Meta rejects templates, such as variable formatting, length and promotional wording in utility templates.
Why preview before you submit
Every business-initiated WhatsApp message must use a template approved by Meta. Rejections cost you days, usually because of avoidable issues: variables at the very start or end of the body, variables placed side by side, a missing sample value, a body over 1,024 characters, or salesy wording in a template filed as Utility. Previewing helps you catch these first and see how line breaks and buttons really render on a phone.
Marketing vs utility vs authentication
Marketing templates promote offers, utility templates confirm something the customer asked for (an order update or appointment reminder), and authentication templates carry one-time passwords. Meta charges each category differently, so choosing the right one matters for your costs as well as your approval chances.
